Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emphasized the critical role of technological innovation and investment in driving the nation toward its ambitious economic goals. Addressing a conference as part of the Rozgar Mela initiative, he discussed the significant progress India has made in various sectors, including space exploration, semiconductor manufacturing, electronics, and electric vehicles. Modi remarked that these advancements are vital for positioning India as a global leader in technology.

During his speech, Modi asserted that India is on the path to becoming the world’s third-largest economy, a status that reflects the nation’s sustained economic growth and resilience amid global challenges. According to reports by ANI, a partner of TV BRICS, he highlighted the “Make in India” initiative, which aims to promote domestic manufacturing and support the development of new technologies across diverse industries.

Furthermore, Modi pointed out that India has seen remarkable growth in its startup ecosystem, with over 150,000 startups registered in the past eight years. This surge has established India as the third-largest startup hub in the world, showcasing the nation’s potential for innovation and entrepreneurship. He attributed this growth to increased youth engagement, which has been pivotal in creating numerous opportunities across various sectors.

In addition to technological advancements and entrepreneurship, Modi spoke about the importance of international collaboration. He discussed the migration and employment agreements signed with 21 countries, which are designed to enhance opportunities for Indian youth to work and study abroad. These agreements signify India’s commitment to empowering its workforce and enabling young professionals to gain global exposure and experience.

Overall, Modi’s remarks reflect a vision of a technologically advanced and economically robust India, ready to take its place on the global stage and contribute to the world’s progress.
