The inaugural BRICS+ Fashion Summit occurred in Moscow from November 28 to December 2 last year, drawing participation from over 60 international delegations. This event, organized as a global forum for fashion, attracted approximately 20,000 attendees from more than 100 countries, as reported by the event’s press service.
The organizers highlighted that the summit garnered over 4 million online views, with numerous fashion association leaders, designers, educators, and industry experts in attendance. The event served as a significant platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange within the fashion industry.
The summit included a robust business program featuring 250 speakers from various regions, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, and the CIS. Participants engaged in 42 sessions covering diverse topics related to the fashion sector. A notable highlight was the “Heritage” international designer exhibition, showcasing over 150 designs from 50 designers representing 47 different countries.
Additionally, the summit offered a fashion intensive course centered on the theme “New Markets—New Prospects: Creating a Successful Fashion Brand in the Age of Globalization.” This course featured 25 instructors from 13 countries, further enriching the experience for attendees.
This year’s forum took place from October 3 to 5 in Moscow, continuing the tradition of fostering global dialogue in the fashion industry.
