The 8th Creative Business Forum, set to take place on June 8, 2024, during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), will spotlight the development of creative industries in BRICS countries. Organized by the Innosocium Foundation, the social platform of the Roscongress Foundation, the forum will focus on preserving cultural diversity while enhancing creative entrepreneurship across BRICS nations.
Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, emphasized that the forum will explore how traditional cultural and historical values can serve as a foundation for developing creative industries. He noted that as globalization shifts toward a desire for uniqueness, national traditions play a vital role in shaping the future of creative entrepreneurship.
The forum will bring together experts from various creative sectors, including art management, design, film, media, and IT. Key topics include investing in cultural capital, exporting animated content, promoting national brands, using neural networks in creative content, and integrating national traditions with modern culture.
Through these discussions, the forum aims to showcase how creative industries can contribute to a sustainable future by merging innovation with cultural heritage, fostering synergy between tradition and modernity. The event will also highlight Russia’s leadership in BRICS cultural collaboration as part of its 2024 BRICS Chairship.
