Russia’s Ministry of Finance has confirmed that Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov will present a comprehensive report detailing the results of Russia’s leadership in the BRICS financial track. He is also expected to propose strategies for reforming the global financial and monetary systems.
The meeting will explore critical topics such as the future of the global economy, the economic outlook for BRICS nations, and methods to enhance customs and tax cooperation among member states. One of the core discussions will focus on strengthening the BRICS Contingent Reserve Arrangement (CRA) to better respond to global financial fluctuations.
Other agenda items include the launch of the BRICS research network on finance and the development of new instruments for blended financing, particularly aimed at infrastructure projects. A key highlight will be the publication of an updated economic bulletin, analyzing the performance of BRICS economies amidst rising interest rates and their broader implications for global trade and finance.
